• Was married 57 years

• Worked as secretary and then partnered with husband on family farm

• Raised registered Guernsey cattle, asparagus, nursery stock and Christmas trees

• Served as township treasurer for four years

• Active in many community organizations

• Three children, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren
